Health-refund

A maximum of ISK 40,000 is reimbursed per year, but never more than 50% of the cost.
You can get reimbursed for the following:
Exercise, sports, swimming, dancing, etc. health-promoting. For treatment by a certified physiotherapist, licensed physiotherapist, health massage therapist, occupational therapist, nutritionist, osteopath or chiropractor.
The gym-station / school / association shall be a legal entity (ID number/kennitala and permanent address) with permanent facilities and organized work.
The health grant can also be used for dental costs and as a maternity grant.
The right is established after 6 months of membership.

Cancer screening

Cancer screening – Women‘s Cancer screening 4.400 kr. after 6 months membership
Cancer screening- Colon examination 15.000 kr. after 6 months membership

Grant for equipment purchase

For the purchase of hearing aids 50% of the receipt up to a maximum of ISK 30,000.
For the purchase of glasses or lenses 50% of the receipt up to a maximum of ISK. 30,000.*
All equipment grants are based on a 36-month period and after 6 months of membership.

*Because of prescription glasses.

Laser surgery

The laser surgery grant is paid 30,000 per eye at one time.

Heart protection

A maximum payment of ISK is made for a risk assessment. 15,000 per year.

Psychiatric / psychological assistance

50% of each account up to a maximum of ISK 30,000 per year. It is only paid for time by psychologists who have professional qualifications in Iceland.

Refund for IVF / artificial insemination

ISK 50,000, - once time.

Refund applications must be received before the 23rd of the month to be paid out at the end of the month.



 

Orlofs og desemberuppbót

Orlofsuppbót er eingreiðsla sem atvinnurekendum ber samkvæmt kjarasamningi að greiða starfsmönnum sínum ár hvert í tengslum við orlofstöku þeirra.

Kjaramál

Kjaramál eru eitt mikilvægasta viðfangsefni hvers stéttarfélags. Verkalýðs- og sjómannafélag Keflavíkur og nágrennis er aðili að allmörgum kjarasamningum.

Orlofsmál

Orlofsárið er tímabilið frá 1. maí til 30. apríl ár hvert. Samkvæmt lögunum, skal veita orlof í einu lagi á tímabilinu frá 2. maí til 15. september, nema um annað sé samið.
